Reiki

‘Reiki’ is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life force energy’. The most common system we know and use today was developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century, although the concept of energy healing has been around in Eastern medicine for thousands of years. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing treatment that removes blockages in the body’s energy flow providing balance to mind, body and spirit.

I use a ‘hands off’ approach, letting my hands ‘float’ a few inches above the client’s body, and the only things I ask a client to remove are their coat and shoes. Treatments typically last between 35 – 45 minutes.
